Pegasus gains an Ofsted grade
Pegasus Academy is no longer inadequate, say Ofsted Inspectors, moving the school up a grade following their latest inspection visit. Less than 18 months after their last full inspection, Ofsted has taken the academy from an "inadequate” to “requires improvement” grading.
The inspectors wrote: “The principal and senior leaders have implemented a clear vision with drive and energy. They have made a determined effort to tackle the areas judged inadequate at the last inspection.”
Pegasus Principal, Andy Landers, who took over the headship in February 2018, said, "It is rewarding to see Ofsted acknowledging the progress that we have made and that this is a school on the way up.”
