The first part of the cross-phase visit included a meeting at the Trust head offices with Jo Higgins, CEO and Kevin Tranter, Chief Operating Officer. The visit was also supported by Neil Thomas, Trustee and CEO of the Trust sponsor, Dudley College of Technology. This was a fantastic opportunity to discuss the Trust’s positive progress to date alongside other major achievements.   

The CEO and DfE colleagues then visited two of the Trust schools: Blowers Green Primary and St James Academy. They toured the schools, visiting lessons and speaking to learners and staff. DfE colleagues were very interested to see, first hand, the Trust’s high level of investment in the schools’ estates, most notably our library provision and ICT resources. 

All staff and learners involved in the visit were a credit to the Trust, showcasing our provision in an exceptional manner.
